     Human life is the most precious and God given gift to us. Hence we must enjoy it happily and successfully. It is not meant for weeping and sleeping only. God created us with a specific purpose. Happy life will automatically enhance once self confidence and personality and his status in the society. Here are some simple tips to lead a happy life.

1. Avoid the egoism:
    Egoism is nothing but “I and myself mentality”. Usually, most of us are of the (false) opinion that we know more compared to others and need not heed to other’s advice and suggestions. Thus, some times we may take wrong decisions and causes irreparable damage to us and also our family members.
2. Avoid the fear of defeat:
    Fear is the root-cause for all the defeats that often we face in our lives and most of the times it is imaginary and having no sufficient base.Be brave and have the courage and mentality of “come what may happen, I face it boldly”. Certainly, your mind will be free from that devil of fear.
3. Self-confidence:
    Self-confidence walks before every success. Such is the effect and importance of confidence in our life and career. Without it, you can’t move even for a short distance. It can be compared to a spear, which can pierce any thing and makes its way forward. Never lose confidence in yourself and go ahead and success will be in your palms. Study the life of “Abraham Lincoln”, the president of America and see how he faced the repeated failures in his life.
4. Proper planning:
    Everything is in zigzag state, if there is no prior and proper planning. Every where, every thing goes according to plan of action. To construct a multi-storied building, the architect prepares a map of the monument and then it will become very easy to construct that building.The same thing we have to do with our lives..it may not be perfect because life is unpredictable but, we should be prepared to face all difficulties. And with proper planning the problems will appear small.
5. Family responsibilities:
    Owning the family responsibilities is the part and parcel of the successful living. No body takes any interest in other’s family problems. You can’t avoid and escape from them.Be with your family when they need you the most.
6. Financial securities:
    You must earn money and secure it either in cash or kind, for future safety. But, your earnings should be in rightful manner, not in illegal ways, under any circumstances. Otherwise, law will take its own course of action.
7. Proper goal-setting:
    A goal less life is compared to a boat without a rudder. One must have a goal (proper destination or achieving something) in life, to make the life meaningful and role-model to others. We can take the inspiration from the lives of so many great leaders, like –“Mahatma Gandhi (India), Abraham Lincoln of America, Nelson Mandela of South Africa, etc.
8. Avoiding postponing mentality:
    The golden word is: “Never post -pone a thing till tomorrow, what can be done today”. Nobody knows about tomorrow and what is in preserve for it. Today is equal to ready cash. So, better depend cash, rather than cheques  (which may be bounced) often. So try to avoid Procrastination.
9. Dedication and devotion:
     In any dealing, trust plays vital role and sincerity has its greater effect on our deeds and dealings with others. Hence, devotion and dedication have positive roles in achieving success and goals in our life and career.Well as you can't change people ,you can influence them..Be a dedicated person and people will follow your lead.
10. Having interest:
   The last but not the least is “having interest” in our job or profession or career or business or anything else, we are dealing, doing or working. Without enthusiasm and interest, we can’t reach our goal (aim) and achieve success in our valuable life and career.

   These are some tips to be happy..and successful..It will take time but you will know you are on right path if you follow these simple tips..So start to follow them today and live a happy life...

Strengthen Your Focus to Achieve Your Goals
            Being focused is extremely beneficial in all areas of your life, but it is something that must be nurtured and built within yourself. Once strengthened, this focus will be an advantage in achieving your goals. Why? Because by having unshakable focus, determination and intensity in purpose will have been developed along the way.

How would you rate the strength of your focus on a scale of 1 to 10?
            Personally, I rate mine at about 6. At times, my focus is amazingly intense, allowing me to have the determination I need to complete projects and concentrate on the steps needed to accomplish my goals. But, then, I find myself floundering, feeling overwhelmed, and searching for that powerful feeling of focus again. The intense desire to change a particular situation in my life is the catalyst that I need to propel myself back into that state of focus.

To strengthen your focus you need to be committed to your goals.

            You must be absolutely committed to reaching your goals. If you’re not completely committed to what you want to accomplish, it will be very difficult to strengthen your focus.
             To be successful in achieving your goals, you must not harbor any second thoughts, doubts, or excuses. Don’t let yourself “cruise” along when everything seems to be going smoothly – this can cause you to backslide into that lackadaisical mindset. Remind yourself daily what your goals are and why you want to accomplish them – don’t lose your focus!
             Remember, just having the desire will not guarantee accomplishment. You can desire something without firm commitment, so be sure to distinguish between the two and take the appropriate actions. Be honest with yourself and know that this is something you truly want to see through until the end.

      Two years ago I suffered low grade chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms. So energy is now a precious commodity to me. Health issues are one thing, but there are some other energy zappers and power parasites we can look at.
   Have you ever noticed, that different tasks require different types of energy? Some things don’t require much energy at all, like watching t.v. At The other end of the scale, are things that require more energy or focus, such as book work or phoning for me.
   Also have you ever noticed that it’s impossible to be depressed when you have good energy! Energy is a fragile thing some days.

   Understanding is an attitude. You cannot go through life controlling situations, circumstances and people. But you can develop understanding. With an attitude of understanding your life becomes a more peaceful, harmonious experience. Here are ten suggestions for acquiring understanding.

1. Be Tolerant of Others. 
       Learn to be patient and tolerant of other people’s weaknesses, actions, and differences. All people are different from you. Simply because a person is a boss, iiiend, or one to whom you are married does not make that person like you. They are not going to act out the role of boss, friend, or married partner exactly the way you think it should be done. You may not understand why the other person acts as he or she does. But you can learn to tolerate that person and  that is the beginning of all understanding.

2. Accept The Differences In Others.
          Although we say “differences” we really mean imperfections. Because the ways that people are different might be viewed as their faults or weaknesses, you tend to unconsciously judge others. You judge whether or not they are doing something you like or dislike agree or disagree with whether they are right or wrong, from your viewpoint. Now if they do not measure up according to your judgment, you stop tolerating them and become irritated, upset, or frustrated. The challenge of forming an attitude of understanding is to have faith in people and believe in them. 
        Try to accept people as they are; avoid casting them in roles of perfection. Stop judging them. Learn to accept the ways that people are different from you.

3. Avoid Expecting People To Be Perfect.
        Have faith in people, believe in them, love them, like them, enjoy them but accept them the way they are! They come with a lot of good and a little bad; some positive and a little negative; always some plus and always a little minus.

4. Be Sure You WANT To Understand People.
       There are times when you find yourself criticizing another person saying you do not understand why that person acts that way. But perhaps you’re finding it easier not to understand that person. Perhaps you are envious, suspicious, or simply find it easier to dislike that person. As long as you want to be dominated by your own negative feelings, you will never learn to understand others.

5. Look For The Good In Others. 
       It is amazing how deliberately people seem to look for other’s negative characteristics. There seems to be a measure of delight in fault finding. Make an effort to identify with the positive qualities in people. If you have only positive thoughts of others you will really have no need for understanding. You have, in a sense, achieved it!

6. Learn To Love The Unlovable
        The personable, popular individual with no irritating qualities presents no challenge to understanding. The challenge is to love the unlovable. It is difficult to understand the people who are rude, sarcastic, arrogant, surely and self-centered.It is difficult even to want to understand these people. It requires self-determination to understand that someone has hurt these people. Someone has made them feel unimportant and unwanted. So these are the people who need your understanding. And the reward will be yours for trying, because, in the process, you will be growing into a genuinely mature person. 

7.   Place Yourself In The Other Person’s Situation.
         In very few instances would you be irritated with another person if you really knew all the facts. And all the facts include an insight into all inner compulsions, needs, experiences, and the problems of others. 
      One of the characteristics of your imagination is its ability to place yourself in the other person’s situation. You can “imagine” how another feels. And that accomplishes much the same purpose as understanding. It gives a bond of feeling and compassion for others.

8. Control Your Attitudes.
         Always remember there is usually nothing in the other person’s actions that irritate you. It is your reactions that cause the negative feelings a the misunderstandings. Learn to control your “reactions” your attitudes to others -‘and you will automatically control your feelings.

9 .Develop A Mental Image of Understanding.
         Picture yourself as an understanding, patient, kind individual. Model your picture, if you wish, after an actual person whom you consider as having those characteristics. Hold that picture in your mind. Start acting out the image. Soon you will become that person!

10.  Use Positive Affirmations of Yourself  As An Understanding Person.
      The quality of our overall life is determined by how we feel, moment-to-moment.So one of our most important goals should be to use positive affirmations and all psychological positive thinking techniques available to keep ourselves thinking and talking about what we want and to keep our mind off of what we don’t want, or what we fear . Always tell yourself that you are an Understanding Person.
       Keep positive thoughts consistent  and keep your mind on what you want to do and the person you want to be.

    The nature of our thoughts determines the quality of our life whether it is sad, happy and contented. Happy, optimistic, positive thoughts, emotions, and feelings generate a zing in our system which makes the blood flow freely and heart beat joyously. They create a spring in our feet and spur us to action. Let us remember the age-old saying that the mind- thoughts- can move the mountains. Pessimistic, sad and gloomy thoughts, on the other hand, create inertia and force us to stay bed-bound.

     One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written: “Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym”.  In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while, they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.
